I don't understand how people can expect a express drop off in a airport? even if you were to just drop off a bag without an agent . the odds of other people doing the same at same time is great ..meaning u will ALWAYS have a line ! unless you flying at odd hours don't expect to have bags and walk straight to a drop off area and move on
Sounds like you never used the express kiosk before and don't know how it works.
In other situations (flying within Canada, and to US), you do all your check-in and printing the boarding pass at the kiosk. There is an express counter to drop off the luggage, where the agent will tag the bags. There is usually hardly a line, or the most I've encountered is a few (count with your one hand) people. The other line where everyone lines up, usually has hundreds of people. Needless to say, the express kiosk check-in works much better when it works.
