Just to come back to the Premium Checkin issue for a moment, there are in actual fact Club desks in T5.
In the centre of the terminal building the checkin assistance desks are located at the back wall in between the security checkpoints. In the centre of this area there is a dedicated set of desks for Club/Silver passengers and this was being well manned and patrolled first thing yesterday morning.
If you mean the ones in Zone E, these are ticket and customer service desks only and not for check-in assistance. There is a separate area there for Club passengers but only for re-issuing of tickets, flight changes, etc, etc. Club pax are directed from there to check in at the kiosks.
At the end of each bag drop zone is an assitance desk and this is where any Club passenger (or WT or WT+) should go if the kiosk doesn't work for them.
