I'll second what Altaflyer stated. Although not usually a WestJet cheerleader, I flew them from YLW-YOW with a connection in YYC on a dark & rainy night (this is not a Bulwer-Lytton tale). The first flight was delayed and they allowed myself and 4 other passengers on my flight to connect on the imminently-departing second plane.
I walked off the first plane, hustled three gates down to the second and thought rude things about my now-lost bag as the plane pushed back just 10 minutes after departing the first flight.
Imagine my delight in Ottawa as my bag appeared on the carousel 5 or 6 minutes after I came off the escalator.
Somebody deserves a medal for locating and bringing my bag to the correct 737 in the 10 minutes between flights. I wrote a letter, and would buy that ramper a beer or six any day.
