..and to follow from johnaalex's question, when did it start to go tits up for BA? What was the tipping point that sent it from being the world's favourite airline (hate it when lazy journos still describe it as such today) to the PR nadir it finds itself in today?
My dad used to bang on when I was a kid about how BA was the Pride of Britain.. i really don't think he'd go with that appraisal now
