why not fly UA on the night flight and LH on the daytime run if it's a revenue ticket

That way you get the UA F service (which is not the best) but the seats are great... and you get the chance to try out the LH F service.

Personally I like the LH F seats when compared to the OLD UA F seats (before the suites)
