For what it's worth, after 20 years of flying the UA 752 in F, I've decided that my favorite seats on almost every other UA F equipment, 2B/2C, are specifically to be avoided on the 757. (I dislike the bulkhead due to lack of storage, and despite being 1K, hiding in row 6 invites a lack of meal choice from FA's who are too indifferent to whatever meal status procedure happens to be in effect that year).
The problem with row 2 is that the occupants of row 1 have no one ahead of them reclined into their own laps, and so see no reason not to recline their row 1 seats all the way the moment after takeoff, and leave them that way the entire flight. All the rest of the F cabin has the "courtesy reminder" of the people in front of them deeply reclined, and making it almost impossible to use a laptop even in F. Sure, it doesn't always work, but I've found in row 3 or 4 I'm far less likely to have a "permanent recliner in front of me.
