Which is to say, they don't care about your ipod, your phone, your pocket digital camera. But they do care about your laptop, your video camera, your almost-laptop-sized portable DVD player, or if you're me, the network router and portable printer you've got in your rollaboard.

Of course, at my home airport, I get to security and say "okay, I've got a printer, a network router, a full DSLR setup, another camera and all the associated cables in here... do you need me to take them out?" and they say "nah, we'll send it through and see if we can tell what's what." Gotta love those folks. ^
Just to be clear: today at LAX was "all electronics," not "major electronics."
