Not sure the DXB-LAX flight will go anywhere near the Pacific. The most direct route takes it across the North Pole. I know this isn't always a possible route but to manage to do a longer flight than IAH in 1 hour 10 mins less, means it must be going fairly direct.
yes. I wonder, at 8339 miles the flight path goes over greenland. I was hoping that *if* it did fly over the pacific I could get by on a RTW ticket going thru usa with ua/ or co on "world journey rtw" and leave jfk on the new a380-800 jfk-dxb.
whaddaya say fellas? does over the top of Greenland and then back over atlantic ocean from jfk to dxb qualify as rtw?
