I actually liked the Lather products - especially the little square soaps.

I'm sure they can come up with a marketing arrangement with somebody who will put their name to the generic hotel toiletries. The "Bath and Body Works" label is on the tolietries at the Marriott where I'm currently staying, but it looks suspiciouly like the "Neutrogena" stuff they used to put out.

I always laugh when they put some spice/vegetation name on the products ("lemon/thyme" et. al.). I was forever waiting for the "paprika/brussel sprouts" line of toiletries.

The other bit of pretention is to put a verb on the toiletry, hinting at its function ("Soothe!" on the lotion, "Cleanse!" on the soaps etc). I always waited for "Cr@p!" labels on the toilet paper.

If I really care about a particular toiletry (shampoo is one for me), I bring my own.
