763s are pretty common subs for LAS. I had one Sunday, and it wasn't my first. I've also seen a 763 at the gate in LAS (wasn't the plane I was flying on).
While a 777 to LAS would be very rare, today would be the most likely of any day in order to free up 757s to put on cxl MD80 routes.
I come to Vegas almost every week on AA, why couldn't my plane be replaced with a 763?
A friend flying first on my miles from MCO-DFW-LAS this evening is now in 1G on a 777 from MCO-DFW.
I'm guessing the people that schedule the planes will be ready for happy hour by the time the day is over
