Unless you activated your new card (and used it), you should be okay. All you're basically getting is a new credit card number, not a change in limit or card type.

Since you already have a credit card relationship with Bank of America, any inquiries they make on your credit history don't affect your credit score. And until they report activity for the new card number, it doesn't hit your credit report.

Or so I was told by my personal banker after she spent much time investigating this on my behalf.
