I agree. Badly thought through implementation of the change to begin with, but then sending copy and paste replies (which are themselves wrong) such as the one you received is just a tad insulting.

If BA want to make the mileage and TP systems farer and more sensible - and relate them more to cost and revenue rather than distance - they would probably get support from here.

But as with all changes it must be a two way street.


[Just as an aisde, has it been mentioned yet that the ba.com calculator is now fixed for LGW-JER (40TP) - this fix may have been covered ages ago on the problems with ba.com thread, etc?]
