Okay - the real question. Is our lifestyle hampering our social life?

I'm a single woman in my mid-40's. I work from a home office and have a sales territory of the 4 western provinces in Canada, as well as Washington state, Oregon and Alaska. I travel for 3-4 days at a time, about every second week. My travel schedule is reduced in the summer.

My ex and I divorced about 6 years ago, and the pickings have been pretty slim ever since then.

When I am back at home, I'm desperately trying to catch up on life, get out with my girlfriends for coffee and such, and get to my yoga classes and after all that, get out to my gym on a regular basis. The chance of meeting someone downtown or at the office is zero - my home is my office.

Am I nuts here? Is it going to turn out that my next guy will also be in the Maple Leaf Lounge or the Red Carpet Club? My luck - he'll live in another city!

Besides dressing like a sleaze, which is not my style (I can't stand high heels), I'm starting to wonder how my lifestyle of travelling is ever going to assist me in finding a life partner. Online dating is questionable, but speed dating might have some possibilities.

Is my lifestyle hamping MY social life? And, when is the last time YOU had a date???
