Thank you for your fax to us. Please accept my apologies for the delay in my reply.

I was sorry to hear you were disappointed with the award of Tier Points for your forthcoming travel between Doha and Bahrain. I have checked our guidelines and this is the correct allocation of Tier Points for this sector of your travel. I have not been able to see any recent changes to this allocation since the date of your booking but, if you are able to provide a copy with these details including the date of the changes I shall be able to investigate further.

As you already know before completing your booking you are able to check the awards due and this does vary depending on your departure and arrival destinations and class of travel.

If you decide to cancel your booking you will need to contact our Reservations department direct with the details.

Thank you again for contacting us.

Regards

Not sure therefore that "the service centres have been fully communicated to and should be aware of this issue"!!!! Looks like PMs will be required.
Well, first question: did you book before 17 March? If you did, then this response is quite disgraceful. They must know that the TP calculator was adjusted on or around 17 March.

You'll have noticed that BA Executive Club has ducked the issue about LCA. It would appear that the "adjustments" are all one way. No principle is being applied here. The TPs on short longhaul sectors have just been cut, plain and simple. Of course, BA is completely free to do this, but it requires notice and none has been given. Adjusting the TP calculator silently one night just won't cut it.
