Yep. Actually, you can find a SIN-SYD RT on SQ for S$ 600 or $325.

That brings a LAX-SYD to about $825, with the last leg in Y, which on SQ is not too bad.

The last time I flew SQ, I got upgraded to Raffles Class (on a really cheap ticket).
