A colleague of mine was sound asleep on the BA292 flight on Thursday night last week and woke to find he was minus his ipod and also the cable which connects it to his Bose h/phones.

He had the engineers look in and around the seat (he was in J), nothing found, conclusion was it had been nicked.

Cabin crew were helpful and symapthetic. Met Police were disinterested when he reported it.

Looks like his insurance will cover it, but does anyone have any advice for him (other than slip it in his pocket next time)?
