I have my travel clothes in my closet classified in sets by purpose. For example, each "1-day work" set consists of shirt, tie, slacks, underwear, socks and handkerchief. Similar for "1-day casual" sets. I just pick up the appropriate number of sets and add them to the bag (which already has one spare set of clothes on permanent standby duty in an inside pouch). Suits are in their garment bags ready to go and I always carry a blazer with me for the convenience of having extra pockets at the airport.

Average time spent packing is between 20-30 seconds. This has replaced my previous "always keep a bag packed" routine as it allows me to rotate clothes between the "home" and "away" wardrobes as needed.
