LH HON/SEN would also receive *G benefits/accrue points on BMI TLV-LHR which started last week. And who knows what will happen if the famous BD options LH has are exercised....
For TLV-based travellers, BMI timings are probably better than BA or LY (El Al) to LHR.
Also *G has a lot more options, which is useful around holidays etc - LH, LX, OS, BD, LO and TK to London, most with 2 flights per day.
For flights to Toronto, AC has direct flights from TLV with their new business class seats most of the time. *G benefits are valid there also of course, as is points accrual.
