It can be done. You just need a bit of time to be spend on Brussels to Stuttgart via Zurich trips on LX. 370 Euro one trip, 10.000 Miles each trip. 60 Trips and the thing is done. You need a bit of time for meaningsless flights and 22200 Euro. On your meaningful flights you can (with a bit of extra time) score close to 19.000 miles on a F/C trip with an extra transfer within Germany.

BTW: BA* can be easily uphold: Germany to LHR in restricted business class costs in the range of 350 Euro and gets 80 tier points.
