We enjoyed our recent stay at both the Sydney Marriott and the Hilton Melbourne. However, be advised that the Hilton is about a 15-20 min walk from the Melbourne CBD, so if you have business downtown you may find the Westin to be more convenient. But it is great for tourists, right next to a couple of nice parks.
