My experience with award seats to Asia on AA have been spotty. On our last trip, we cleared at the airport on the return, and cleared on the outbound about a week prior to the flight. On all the NRT flights we have been on, all seats up front have been taken, so my advice to you is to take the seats as soon as possible. We were fortunate to find seats this fall on dates other than the dates we wanted to go at 330 days out. Good luck, and don't worry about the baby (or us).
