Another trick I use... I oftentimes will save up old clothes that I would be throwing away... and take them on a trip.... could be old shirts, tshirts, underwear, socks.... and use them on the trip.... and throw them away... frees up space for the return trip.....

Why not donate these items to a local shelter or orphanage (except the underwear)? I'm sure there is someone that would be happy with these items rather than just throwing them away.
