We are going to New York City this summer. My husband would not want to go unless he can take our two 10-lbs dogs. We also have two kids (13 and 10 yr old).

I did award search and most manhattan properties are available for the time period we are looking at. Unfortunately Embassy Suites no longer takes pets and I don't have enough points for two rooms for 5 nights so we'll have to all camp in one room (hopefully with two queen beds).

Does anyone have an experience staying at one of the Manhattan properties with dogs? Which one is convenient for brief relief walks? (My country dogs won't likely relieve themselves unless there is a patcj of grass.) Which one is a short walking distance to a good doggie day care? Does any property allow an in-room pet sitter?
