I completely disagree with your comments. I think people will continue to flock to Thailand. It is a cheap country with lots of nice beaches and tourists really don't care how corrupt the country may be or how fake the smiles may or may not be. I know I don't I enjoy the country because my money goes a long way there. My alternative is Singapore which I avoid if at all possible because their lack of corruption in part is responsible for a modern economy meaning very high prices. If Thailand does away with their corruption and their economy takes off then I think that will drastically reduce the number of tourists.
