Another option would be to buy an inverter to AC power, which, with a cigarette lighter adapter from empower, will let you use it from either an airplane with empower or a vehicle cigarette lighter/12V battery terminals and will power your computer's AC adapter or other AC devices up to the rated wattage. The downside is its size is larger than a normal DC computer adapter. My 250 W AC inverter only cost around $20 from Sam's Club.
For NW that would still require an AC adapter for the computer with a 70W or lower AC draw.
