I am on my semi-annual shopping trip to the U.S. westcoast. This
time I am routed thru HNL with a 9 hr layover. So I want to go
shopping at Costco. I will have only carry on from NRT, but out
of HNL seems I will have a regular piece of luggage that needs
to be checked in, of course size wise and because I have liquids
in there like shampoo, olive oil and lemon juice, which I cannot
get past TSA. I leave on a HA operated NW coded flight to Kona
and then connect to NW metal to SEA. Has anyone been able to
check in luggage mid flight before? I hope that's possible. I have
a quick turnaround in SEA, won't have time to go off airport there.
