We arrived from SJD on Monday and were towed to Gate 40 (which I knew was not an international arrivals - immigration linked gate). We then had to deplane down the back of the a/c and be bussed to the entrance to the corriders leading to immigration (fat lot of good being in J ). Apparently none of the 41-45 gates are accessible due to the construction. I email AAdv about it - all they said they would pass the comments on to the LAX station manager.

I felt sorry for the LHR-LAX flight who arrived around the same time - I assume they too had to be bussed .......
