Cancelling a BRG claim
I recently made a BRG claim with a Le Meridien hotel, which I needed to cancel afterwards.
Since it had disappeared from the spg.com website, I needed to call SPG reservations.
After 3 unsuccessful tries with the call center (telling me that the rate was non-cancellable, where the confirmation clearly it said it was), I ended up calling the hotel which did it, although they couldn't send me an e-mail confirmation.
How can I confirm that the reservation was indeed cancelled ? Is there any reason for this process to be so burdensome ?
