I stayed at this place last week. When I checked in I asked about an upgrade and was not given any. I was told they have to upgrade plat first. They did not even have a deluxe room for me beacuse I needed a king bed. This hotel was by far the worst starwood hotel I have been to. I was first given a room on the 27th floor. The entire hallway had completely sctrached wallpaper the entire way with 3 lines on each side prpbably from the carts. It was also torn in many places. The actual room was very small, had a lumpy bed and seemed like it was last renovated 15years ago. I did not have time to complain as I had to go to meetings. When I got back to the hotel I went staright tothe front desk and complained about the shocking state of the hallway. In 1 minute I got upgraded to a club level room. It was better but still not great. The hallway still had many scratches, doors were chiped at the bottom. The room was better. It seemed like it was probably renovated 6 years ago. I will probably not go back to this hotel. While a club level room barely passes for acceptable, as a gold member dont expect to get one and I would hate to stay in a standard room.
