After boarding, it might be worth identifying if any of the other passengers in the rows you are occupying are single travellers and do some seat swapping should this produce a better situation, it is not as if there are any difference between rows 18 and 19. Of course, if you end up occupying a whole row then both of the EF occupants will have to climb across unknown other passengers.

So, when forced to choose from the centre section seats other than the last rows in club - it looks like having EF in one row and the aisle seats in the next row are possibly the best fit when travelling as a family of four? This is one of the reasons why I upgraded our 2 2-for-1 redemption bookings to First so that we could allocate seats for our YYC trip in the summer; originally I did put the youngest daughter on the booking with Mrs TMC (no status) so that they would be allocated seats at T-72 - but still had too many concerns at what would be allocated.
