UAL from IAD to IST is way too expensive in coach @ $955. I can get a consolidator ticket in V class on LH, for about $710.

UAL rules state: "Your paid, qualifying miles on most published fares on Lufthansa also count toward eligibility for Mileage Plus Premier® status." I need those miles to get to Premier.... how can I be sure they will count? Thanks.
