The family are visiting New York for the New Year ( I know its a long way off). We want to tke advantage of points stays, and currently have two rooms booked for four nights at the Times Square CP ( Including New Years Eve ). We now want to travel on 27 December (two nights earlier) and sadly the Times Square CP is not available for a points stay. Mrs Mole and I both hold RA status so it is probable that we will use free week end night certificates at the IC Barclay (if the rates fall) and then transfer to Times square for the New Year.
However I want a fall back plan and therefore I am considering booking the additional two nights at either the HIX - 5th Avenue or HIX Madison Square Garden. Can anyone offer me a comparison between the two?
