The long-awaited AC cabin upgrades are close to complete, yes, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that AC's cabins are "routinely upgraded". AC still has some 767s and A320s with cabins in similar shape to what AA has on the 757 and A-300.
IFE can be really nice, but I agree with Moman that it wouldn't hurt most of us to read more.
