Yep, thats what I would do as I said all you would be saving is $790 and less if you will be taking 2 checked bags possibly. If they dont interline that 2nd bag thats another $200 so now you will be out the miles and saving $590 only.

But I dont like the idea of doing the charter all too often things go off,so then I would overnight it each way, sort of what makes sense if going on a Cruise. But that again will reduce your savings.

I do TLV 4-5 times a yr. Its been on CO for the past few yrs, but so far not this yr, 12-14 cents per EQM not my way of earning EQMs. I never would even think of trying it your way, and believe me when it comes to saving $$ or working things out for as little as possible, you are talking my Game. Maybe if all that was available was a full Y at $3000. But your way too many things can go wrong IMO and not enough of a savings to justify it to me in order for me to roll the dice on it.

See what fares are out of JFK, sometimes Orbitz has some great stuff they put together OK you wont earn 100% EQMs and sometimes none but if its alot cheaper heck with the EQMs.
