This is entertaining... Forgive me, as I'm not sure how the vote process works here - I'll read and get up to speed as much as possible soon...but it seems like there are several camps discussing this - one that just thinks we should just have the forum up already, one that thinks it's premature since the ff program isn't mature enough, and when they finally announce partners and redemptions we should open a forum, and another that thinks VX is an experiment doomed to failure and should crawl back into the hole it came from...

VX does seem to dominate the Other NA/SA board recently at times (I know I'm helping support that trend) - the only other board I know of that supports VX is V-Flyer, which is pay-to-post on. VX does have a large web presence, and has lent a lot of 'official' support to places like digg and engadget in order to pull the tech savvy people online. I've flown them to the point of knowing a lot of the staff now quite well, and have various e-mail dialogues going when things need attention. VX isn't going anywhere, I think...and the FF program will be filled out in the next 2-3 months...why not have a place for people to talk VX before it gets busy, which it will, soon... I dislike dominating the NA/SA forum, and have noticed people don't know to post in the NA/SA forum or the V-Atlantic forum...and if we get it going early, I suspect VX will get an official presence watching the forum early and will probably/hopefully participate before too long. They support people who support them, and it'd be nice to make this the place to go for VX.
