I purchased one of these when it was in V class. It was a good deal then and it was possible to get seats within a week or two of a flight with some planning.

With N class I strongly advise against buying the pass unless you can book months in advance or only travel in low season (does that exist any more?).

You can do almost as well with consolidator travel agents specializing in Asian/China travel (or you can fly in business on Oasis for just a bit more!). No status miles for flights in Canada and trouble getting N inventory make me stay away, not to mention I can't use upgrade certs on these fares!
