Getting back is not much of a problem, have o/w awards available on AZ/BA/KL to use. Sounds like much better deal to use my next UA flights to BD and get up to redeeming 2 17.5k awards for J class over the Atlantic. Can you mix and match? i.e. JFK-FRA SQ and then continue on LH FRA-IST.
