Talking New to HK flight pass, need help!

Hello, everyone! I happened to find this forum when searching about the AC HK flight pass. I am a student and have regular travels from Toronto or Vancouver to Hong Kong during summer and Christmas. It seems using a flight pass save me a big sum of money. But I need to get clear about some details of the flight pass condition before spending.

---- The followings are a bit long, hope you will be patient enough to read it Thank you! ----

1. Validity:
It says "valid for twelve (12) months from its date of purchase". Suppose I purchased this flight pass in April 2008, so it will expire April 2009, even though I won't book my first flight in July 2008?

Some one told me a different version, saying the period counts from the first flight - in this case, the flight pass will expire in July 2009. I doubt it.

2. Booking Class:
It says "subject to availability of ‘N’ booking class". I am not sure what exactly the 'N' class is. When I am searching tickets to HK on AC website, the lowest economy class is usally 'V' or 'H'. And I looked at my past tickets, none of them is in 'N' class (they r K,H,V,etc.). So I worry about the availability of 'N' class. Is it very limited? I am guessing it won't be available at all in high season, such as Christmas.

I use SeatCounter.com to look up the 'N' class availability. YYZ-YVR-HKG do have some 'N' class seats (around 9). But is it really accurate? I don't want to see a different version when actually booking online.

3. Flight with stops:
I am doing school in Kingston (YGK). So everytime I travel to HK, must complete YGK - YYZ - YVR - HKG. I usually stop at Toronto (YYZ) or Vancouver (YVR) for a few days for visitng then fly to Hong Kong (HKG). Is it possible for me to have such a stop when using the flight pass? It says "One flight credit is required per direction including connections", so I think it should be fine?

4. Reschedule Flights:
I understand the general conidition about changing the flight online. But please let me suppose again.... continue the case in question 1, the flight pass will expire in April 2009 and I have booked my last flight in March 2009. However, I changed my mind and want to reschedule the last flight to May 2009. So is it possible to change the flight date beyond the expiry date?

Since I have different plans for every summer, such reschedule will very likely happen.

5. Time of Purchase
If I decide to buy the HK flight pass and planning to make the first flight in early July. When will you suggest me to make the purchase? The troubles are: if I purchased early, it will expire early next year; if I purchased right in time, i may not get the seat (due to the 'N' class limitation).

---- Sorry for the long post. Hope I have made my questions clear. ----

If any experienced flyer can help me with any of these questions, I appreciate it very much! I must have very careful consideration before spending the $3500+, which is big money for me, as a student.

Thank you for your patience reading it, hehe. Looking forward to your answers!:-:
