Hi everyone.

I'm going to have a long layover in SIN (SQ11 arriving at 1AM) and my next flight doesn't leave until 10:30 the next morning. So, I'm looking for decent hotels closeby to the airport.

The closest one I found is Changi Village at about 3 miles away from the airport. Is this a good choice? How long does it take via taxi?

Since the MRT closes at midnight, I won't be able to take it into Singapore. I can take a taxi. How much is the taxi going to be?

I know there's also the transit hotel inside the airport, but I want something a little nicer.

Do you think it's better to just take a cab into the city vs staying at Changi Village? The best available rate is SIN$180+tax...
