UA 895 HKG-LAX. This was a first for me, somehow the flight attendant's phone was also turned onto channel 9. So I'd be listening to the pilots doing their thing when all of a sudden I hear "Hi Jen, Can you come help me with the passenger in seat 1J". I could also hear air to ground between the flight attendant's regarding a medical condition that someone on the plane was having. They were chatting about what gate and how the EMT's would be waiting at the gate. Anyway, I'd never heard the FA's on channel 9 before, and based on how they were describing some of the passenger's I'd prefer they left it off.
