Even with the 5000 point limitation I thought this was a good deal
and a great incentive to paying taxes (or a portion of) via SPG Amex, regardless of the 2.49% conveniance fee. Paying taxes without any SPG/Amex incentive will only work for a very few. It appiers Amex no longer
sees this as a win/win with SPG.
