I just booked my flight SFO-IAD-EZE and on the return SCL-EZE-IAD-SFO. The SCL-EZE is with Lan. The connection should give me two hours connecting at EZE arriving at 7:05PM and on UA 846 on 4/12 departing at 9:05pm. How are the international connections at EZE? I know that LAN and UA have a luggage agreement, but their systems do not talk to each other.
Any advise as to how to transfer fast?

LAN changed their schedules and they scheduled me on a 4:55pm flight out of SCL arriving at EZE at 7:50pm, which is making it very tight to connect, especially if there might be a delay. I just called LAN and asked to be moved to their 2:10pm (445) arriving in EZE at 5:05pm. 4 hrs connection is not ideal but i do not want to risk misconnecting. And of course the bonus would be that LA445 is on a A340... I think I have seen another thread on the forum re: what is there to do at EZE.
BTW Lan confirmed that they have a luggage agreement with UA so my luggage will be checked in all the way through to the US.
