I've just noticed BA's clever marketing ploy on the EC homepage. As the timings from LGW to Malta are so rubbish, they've crafted it the other way round, implying that it's actually for the benefits of those in Malta!!!

From 31st March 2008, the full service flight, which includes complimentary food and drink, business and economy class cabins, will offer a daily departure from Malta at 05.25 and a return flight from London Gatwick at 21.55, allowing for a full day of work or leisure in London.
