Ask for a hand check if you really want it but only for the camera/film. No need to do a full bag check on the bag. What has already been stated in this thread is correct, 800 or lower speed film is ok to go through the x-ray a few times. But if you really want it hand checkec/etd swipped just ask for it and most TSO will do it no problem some will let you know that lower speed films can go in the x-ray.
