I don't particularly mind about being fingerprinted in LHR when travelling domestically - at the end of the day something needs to be done to ensure domestic travellers get on the right plane and only the right plane.

You currently get photographed at Gatwick if flying domestically with BA.

As for the comments about BAA deciding to have passengers in the same depature area - I think BA would have had a significant say during the design process - much more of a say than BAA.

To say people are treated like criminals, IMO, is just inaccurate. It has a specific purpose - to ensure people get on the right flights.
