Citi closed my Premierpass Elite card, not sure what is the reason. I have to wait until Monday to find out the reason.

I also have Citi Platinum American express cad, diamond preffered rewards card and Business premierpass card. But they closed only Personal Premierpass Elite card.

I have around 500,000 thankyou points mostly accumlated on platinum amex card.

Due to the fact that after April 15 th only premierpass elite card out of cards I have is eligible for fixed price redemption. Is citi making sure that I will not redeem points for fixed price awards by closing premierpass elite card.

So word of caution to people accumlating lot of thankyou points, burn as fast as you can and don't trust citi in this downtime economy conditions.

Plan of action for me is find non refundable business tickets before 04/15 and use the vochers in one year. I am ok even if some of the vochers exipre.
