Need to take POWDERED baby formula as other type is liquid and they are strictly following a zero tolerance policy on liquids.
It's unclear as to whether one could carry on liquids purchased on the concourse after one had passed thru security. If that is allowed, count on an entrepreneurial Chinese person to make liquid formula available on the concourse.
That's exactly what happened in the U.S. when the initial TSA policy came out. Of course the TSA clarified its ploicy very quickly and some of that baby formula on the concourse which was premium priced moved to clearance sale pricing.
