Its really not a fair comparison.

I have a TravelPro FlightCrew2 22" rollaboard that was damaged. The zipper pulls and anchors were sheered off. Repair cost $45

I have a Briggs & Riley Superlight 20" Upright. Similar damage. Repair cost $0

The Briggs & Riley warranty - defect or not, your fault, the airlines fault, it doesn't matter. Its covered.
