Asiana is NOT a Oneworld partner; it's AA's partner. BTW, it will be joining Star Alliance next year.

If you bought Asiana ticket, I don't think you can upgrade with AA miles. If you bought AA ticket, you might. This question should be posted in AA forum rather than MilesBuzz...
