I second the Conrad Bali. Hubby & I were there for a rewards weekend about a month ago and it was spectacular. Upgrading to their Club level is USD 30 per night and includes a fantastic hot snacks/open bar happy hour from 5-7pm and an excellent breakfast, as well as free internet and other goodies. Good value IMHO.

I live in Jakarta, Indonesia...and would recommend you avoid the rainy season from Jan. - March...although when it rains in Bali, it rarely rains all day. But probably best to avoid if you want beach weather.
